Gloucestershire County League Division 3 Champions 2007

A resounding 6-0 victory against Cirencester in the last league match made sure that Bristol Greenbank go up as CHAMPIONS. Cirencester were runners up.

Bristol Greenbank win the Bristol and District League

After the disappointment of failing to qualify for the Final of the Clarence Davey (came third) Bristol Greenbank made sure of winning the Bristol and District League First Division title by defeating Northavon B.C at their temporary home green (St. Andrews Park and Kildare). Needing five points to make sure that Bristol St. Andrews could not catch them Greenbank won 7-3 to end the league season on a high.

Bristol Greenbank win the Bristol North East League Cup

Not content with the success of the "A" team, the North East team decided to get themselves some silverware with with a victory over G. B. Britton "B" at Avonvale. A more detailed report will follow as soon as the cards are available.

Bristol Greenbank "B" Team retain their League status

The Bristol and District League "B" Team, not to be outdone with the success of the other two Thursday night teams, retained their status in the Bristol and District League Second Division with a hard earned 6-4 win at home to Yate "B"

CONGRATULATIONS to Lee Peacock Singles Winner after a very closely contested game against T. Caple (Bedbrook) by 21-19. President Mike Coggins presents the Herbert Hayes Cup.

 

Pete Bennett, Paul Hughes, John Wood and Pete Belsten are the Fours Runners Up after losing in another close game 14-18 to J. Nichol, J. Gregory, C. Russell and C. Shlaepfer of Henleaze. President Mike Coggins presents the George Sutton Cup.
